Overnight Hunts:

• Two, 2.5 - 3 hr hunts, one on afternoon of arrival, and again the following morning

• Expect 12-15 covey rises per hunt

• First class dogs and guides. Dogs are “steady to wing and shot”

• Bird cleaning and packaging

• Full, exclusive use of the Blandfield Lodge, with stocked bar and endless hors d’oeuvres

• Chef Gregory and his staff will prepare a welcome lunch, appetizers and hors d’oeuvres following afternoon hunt and prior to dinner, a world-class seated dinner, light breakfast prior to morning hunt, brunch/lunch post-hunt and prior to departure

• No bird limit, no extra fees

• Preserve licenses provided when needed

• Arrive in the early afternoon and enjoy the picturesque view of this remarkable landscape on our 4,000-acre historic estate

• Build excitement for the upcoming 3.5-hour afternoon hunt while enjoying a welcome lunch and appetizers

• After lunch, the group will head over to our sporting clay range for a warm-up session

• Embark on an old-style afternoon quail hunt that will test your wing shooting skills on multiple exciting covey rises (expect 12-15 covey rises per hunt)

• Retire to our spacious 5,000 sq. ft. hunting lodge on the banks of the Rappahannock River
  

• Share stories over beverages and hors d’oeurves as you enjoy our patio with a fire pit and watch the sunset across Blandfield’s marsh
  

• Gather for a mouth-watering, seated dinner prepared by Chef Gregory and his staff, with your choice of culinary delights including wild game

• End the night with a moonlight stroll along the lodge peninsula, or gather around the card table with friends

• Retire for a restful evening in your private bedroom

• The following morning, awake for a continental breakfast to fuel your next memorable hunt

• Congregate back at the lodge for a hearty lunch before departure

• Host and all guests should be experienced hunters and knowledgeable of gun and shooting safety

• Hunts may be reserved anytime in advance, subject to availability

• Priority will be given to overnight bookings

• Over-under or side-by-side shotguns are required for safety reasons

• Maximum of two shooters “at the ready” at any time during the hunt

• Any guest consuming alcoholic beverages prior to a hunt will not be allowed to handle a firearm
