LODGING

Embrace the true “hunt club” experience at the Blandfield Lodge.

Relax and unwind after an incredible hunt on the banks of the Rappahannock River overlooking 600-acres of pristine marshland and creeks.

The Blandfield Lodge

The 5,000 sq. ft. lodge was modeled after an 1870s Coast Guard Station on Parramore Island off the Eastern Shore of Virginia, where the Wheat family hunted and fished for more than 30 years.

In the tradition of hunting lodges of the gilded age, the comfortable yet rustic building features two fireplaces, nine bedrooms, seven and a half baths, three living rooms, a wet bar, a card room, and a separate dining room.

Take in scenic water views, sunrises, sunsets, and panoramic vistas of this pristine portion of the Rappahannock River from the third-floor observation room. Top off an unforgettable experience by stepping out the back door onto the terrace, equipped with a fire pit for oyster roasts and fine cocktails.
